24 hr HIRE KART practice slots.

These practice sessions are to learn the circuit and are not in the race karts you will drive in the 24-hour race.

Teams can share a kart and practice driver changes during their session. Multiple karts can be booked for one time slot but multiple time slots will need to be booked separately.

If you book multiple sessions you will have to stop at the end of each session and start again with the next session.

Drivers must arrive 15 minutes before their session at the briefing room, drivers who arrive late may miss their session.

Please signing on online before arriving, using the email link you have been sent, all team members driving in the practice session need to sign on using the same link. Then check in at reception to receive a driver band.

Curry and Fireworks - double header fun!

For the current season, Teesside Owner Sprint 2024 Drivers and Families, we will host a curry and Fireworks on Saturday, 26th October, from 1830 onwards.

The price is £10.00 per person - Chicken Curry Loaded Fries or Hot Dogs and fries.

Please book your place before 17th October so we can let the cafe know how many to prepare for.

In partnership with PH Drift, we’re bringing you a brand-new experience featuring multiple track layouts. Throughout the day, you'll receive expert guidance with training briefings and instructors observing every lap. They're on standby to offer tips or even join you for a few laps to provide personalized feedback.

The Presentation will take place at the Leonardo Hotel in Middlesbrough, which is minutes away from the circuit in the centre of town - making it easier for anyone who wants to continue the party after the Presentation.

Dress Code - Semi Formal - so a little bit fancy! but just make sure your happy and comfortable!

Children are welcome to attend the event. However, they must remain with a parent at all times.

Tickets can be brought with or without hotel rooms; all rooms have bed and breakfast included.

Monday evenings mean Track Evenings.

Bring your road car for a run around the track from 5-8 pm for only £45 per car.

Our nights start with signing on and a briefing so please arrive by 4:30 pm at the latest, numbers are limited to 50 cars.

After your briefing, each car will take part in a sighting lap following a safety car this allows you to familiarise yourself with the circuit layout and braking zones. We then run as an open pit lane with a maximum of 16 cars on the circuit at any time, depending on conditions. We recommend that drivers complete no more than 10 laps in each of their sessions on track, this helps to keep the amount of track time between drivers fair as well as preventing your car from overheating.

Cars must be of good general condition and should be able to pass an MOT, we do not allow 'old bangers' or cars that should be in a scrapyard. You should have tyres with a good overall tread and brake pads with a good amount left on them. The type of driving that you'll be doing on the Teesside Track means that brakes and tyres heat up and wear out quickly - brake fade is not fun.

In order to drift at Teesside Practice days, you must have either.

A full UK drivers license must be able to be physically checked during signing on.

Or

An MSA race licence and experience in Motorsports combined with tuition days at PH Drift and/or a personal reference from Yohann at PH Drift - made prior to the practice day to Kat at Teesside Karting.

Entries are non-transferable so even if someone changed their mind about coming they would still have to contact me and get a refund and the place would be resold, they cannot give it to you or resell it to you - you will be refused entry and they would lose their money.

Cars

All drift cars should be of good general condition with no leaks, sharp or hazardous protrusions from the car.

To TWIN you must have a full cage including door bars, this must be made of metal and be fixed to your car through the dashboard and chassis - tape and foam doesn't make a roll cage!

Towing eyes and Tow straps must be in place and fixed using a mechanical fixing not held in with tape or tie wraps - one front and one back is preferable.

Drivers and passengers should have a decent helmet, arms and legs must be covered and NO open toe shoes or flip flops are permitted.

Trailers should be put on the hard standing, one additional vehicle per drift car.

Every half term kids and families can enjoy a 15-minute karting sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 1000-1630, with a hot dog and drink included for each paying driver 15 years old and under.

Practice/qualifying 15m

Race 1 - 40m (0900-1000) - International Circuit - Grid from Qualifying

Race 2 - 40m (1200-1300) - International Circuit with back D -Grid from Race 1 finish

Race 3 - 40m (1530-1630) - National - Grid from points high to low Race 1 and Race 2 Combined

Score points for the finishing position in each race will add up to create an overall championship for the day; the highest-scoring driver over the three races will be the overall One-Day Championship Winner.

Drivers will be classified as Over 80kg or Under 80kg

Academy Club Day - Thursday 30th May 2024

Owner Drivers can spend the day in the Academy with Taylor, Bella and Gracie, taking part in track walks, driver coaching, looking at data and video footage as well as taking part in testing sessions through out the day, Lunch will be in the café with your instructor.

The day will run from 0900-1630 with test sessions around the corporate bookings, this is limited to 15 drivers, in their own karts.

Academy Honda Cadet is available to book for the full day or for session to try - this is limited and needs to be booked separately.

Lunch will need to be pre-booked for both the drivers and parents - £7.50 covers and meal and drink - options will be emailed to driver who have booked a couple days before.

Parents are required to stay on site and run the kart. This is not one to one coaching advice will be given to individuals and as a group.

Car Track Day 0930-1600

Bring your car for one of our exclusive car track days. Cars must be in good condition and well-maintained, but no special modifications are required. The day runs as an open pit lane on a one-off, one-on basis.

Drivers must have a full UK driving licence available for inspection on the day and attend a safety briefing before driving.

Extra Drivers £25 per person.

Passengers over 12 years old are welcome for an additional £15 per person.

Everyone going onto the circuit is required to have a long-sleeved top and a properly fitted, type-approved helmet. We do not supply these - you must bring your own.

15 Minute Arrive and Drive Sessions.

Book a family arrive and drive session online for adults and children to drive together.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions each 15 minute session is restricted to a maximum of 6 people from the same family bubble, aged 8 years plus.

For younger children under 8 or under 4'6'' tall our two seater karts allow you to drive them round, these sessions are only 15 minutes long.

Please arrive no more than 30 minutes before you event start time, all signing on should be completed online before arriving on-site.

These session are mixed for adults and children, adult only groups should call the office for available adult only sessions - adults in these sessions will be driving single engine adults karts.

Arrive and Drive is the easiest way to enjoy your first karting experience, or for seasoned drivers, to have a quick blast around the track with friends.

With 'Adult-Only', 'Kids-Only' and 'Family Sessions' running every week, getting your karting fix couldn't be easier. All sessions need to be pre booked.

Every session starts with a face-to-face induction/refresher explaining how the karts work, as well as the basics of racing lines and karting etiquette. We have karts for all ages and sizes, 8 years and up.

Please note weekend sessions unless otherwise stated are on the west circuit.

All cars taking part in drift practice must confirm to noise regulations and be able to be noise tested in a static test at a maximum of 102db. Car that test higher than that will be turned away with no refund.

Family sessions

Our Arrive and Drive family sessions allow adults to safely drive on the circuit with the younger members of their families, whereby the adults drive specially-designed single-engined adult karts that are, for the safety of the children karting, slower than our twin-engined karts.

Kids from 8 to 15 years old and at least 4' 6'' tall, can drive themselves on track after a thorough safety briefing. Younger children won't miss out as we have special two-seater karts that the adults can drive whilst sit alongside their child (the adult goes free when driving the two-seater kart - only the child is paid for). We never mix adult-only groups with family groups on track - only like-minded family groups.

Important Information

Please note;

• For the safety of children taking part, accompanying adults in family groups will be driving a single-engine adult kart. Any adult that wishes to drive a twin-engine kart can only do so in an adult-only session or race.
• The number of adults that can take place in a family session is limited to a maximum of 2 adults for every 4 children.
